Decree-Law on Digital Services
The Decree-Law 74/2014, of 13 May, revised by Decree-Law no. 105/2017 of 29 August, established the rule of digital provision of public services by default. It enshrined assisted digital attendance as an indispensable complement via a Citizen Spot network, where those who cannot, will not, or do not know how to use digital tools, can benefit from the support and guidance of a public servant/digital mediator: the objective is to give all citizens the possibility to access digital services.
